🛰️ Teltonika Router Integration

Teltonika RUT routers are frequently used in mobile towers and remote sites to provide both connectivity and real-time GPS tracking. This guide covers how to register the device in GCXONE and configure the HTTPS push service for location updates.

📋 Prerequisites

  • Teltonika RUT Router: (e.g., RUT240, RUT950) with a functional GPS antenna.
  • SIM Card: Active data connection to reach the GCXONE cloud.
  • Administrative Access: To the RutOS web interface (usually 192.168.1.1).

💡 Troubleshooting

  • No Location in GCXONE: Ensure the GPS antenna is mounted externally or near a window. Check the "Satellites" count in the router status; it must be 4 or higher for a valid fix.
  • Connection Refused: Verify that the HTTPS URL matches the one in GCXONE exactly. Ensure your SIM card permits outbound HTTPS (Port 443) traffic.
  • Device Offline: Check the router's data usage. If the data limit is reached, it may stop sending HTTPS updates until the monthly reset.
