Avigilon Supported Features

The following features are supported through the GCXONE integration with Avigilon VMS.

Core Video Functions​

  • Live Video: View real-time streams from connected Avigilon cameras.
  • Playback: Access recorded footage stored on the Avigilon ACC server.
  • PTZ Controls: Control pan, tilt, and zoom for supported cameras directly from the interface.

AI & Analytics​

  • Motion Detection: Receive and process motion events triggered by Avigilon devices.
  • Object Detection: Support for person and vehicle classification.
  • Analytic Events: Integration with custom defined analytic events in Avigilon ACC.

Alarm Management​

  • Alarm Triggers: Receive alarms based on motion or custom analytic events.
  • Pre/Post-Alarm Recording: Automatically capture video clips before and after an alarm event (typically 10 seconds).
  • User Group Integration: Link Avigilon user groups to GCXONE for granular access control.

System Management​

  • Device Discovery: Automatically identify cameras and sensors connected to the Avigilon VMS.
  • Health Monitoring: Real-time status tracking of the VMS and its connected hardware.
