This document tracks major dependency upgrades that should be planned for future releases.

React 19 Upgrade​

Current Version: React 18.3.1
Target Version: React 19.x
Priority: Medium
Estimated Effort: 2-3 days

Breaking Changes to Test:​

  • New JSX Transform changes
  • Concurrent features updates
  • Hook behavior changes
  • TypeScript compatibility

Action Items:​

  • Create test branch for React 19
  • Test all components for breaking changes
  • Update TypeScript types
  • Test build and runtime behavior
  • Update documentation if needed

Algolia v5 Upgrade​

Current Version: algoliasearch 4.25.3
Target Version: algoliasearch 5.x
Priority: Low
Estimated Effort: 1-2 days

  • API changes in search client
  • Configuration format changes
  • Response format changes

Action Items:​

  • Review Algolia v5 migration guide
  • Test search functionality
  • Update search configuration
  • Test search performance

TailwindCSS v4 Upgrade​

Target Version: tailwindcss 4.x
Priority: Low
